Looking deeper into
DDLPS

DDLPS=dedifferentiated liposarcoma.

What do you see when you look deeper?

Soft tissue sarcoma (STS) accounts for about 1% of all adult malignancies. There are more than 100 different histologic subtypes, and each subtype has a unique clinical behavior.1

  • Liposarcomas represent the predominant subtype of STS, comprising 15-20% of all cases2

  • Among liposarcomas, DDLPS represents 15-20% of diagnosed cases2

Estimated proportion of liposarcoma2

Charts showing the estimated proportion of liposarcoma in STS is 15-20%, and among liposarcomas, DDLPS represents 15-20% of diagnosed cases.

DDLPS is an aggressive subtype of liposarcoma with poor prognosis3

DDPLS occurs de novo in 90% of cases and in 10% as a recurrence from pre-existing WDLPS cases.4

MLPS=myxoid/round-cell liposarcoma; PLPS=pleomorphic liposarcoma; STS=soft tissue sarcoma; WDLPS=well-differentiated liposarcoma.
